Hello and welcome to the unofficial emmet swimming concert archives! The main point of this page is to archive setlists and fan reviews for every emmet swimming concert. Kara Garbe began this site in September of 1999 (she left it in my hands when she joined the Peace Corps), and I'm maintaining it, trying to get a setlist and review from every show that they do. So, this site is about all you fans out there who attend concerts. Whenever you go to a emmet show, please hang out after it's over and ask one of the wonderful crew members to hand you a setlist (or you can write the songs down during the show, which can be difficult sometimes...), then email it to me (remove luckyducky. first) with a little review of the show if you have some opinions on it that you wouldn't mind sharing. And of course, for those of you who can't get to shows (or at least, not every show :), this site is an excellent way to vicariously experience an emmet concert. I hope you enjoy it!

~~Updates and Site Info~~

June 27th, 2011:
The shows will continue to be updated, as well as any additions to the discography, but this page has outlived its usefulness. If you're looking for upcoming shows, the band's site is updated frequently. The setlists (and eventually all shows) are mirrored at setlist.fm, where users can track what shows they've been to.

February 16, 2001:
Todd will be playing an acoustic show on Friday, March 16. Be there! Who knows when your next chance to see him will be?

Additionally, courtesy of Chris Nelson, I've just put up a slew of old setlists from 1996. Even more are on the way. Check out the 1996 page to find them all.

September 20, 2000:
Sorry for how hugely late this is, but Todd is playing an acoustic show tomorrow night (Thursday, September 21) at T. T. Reynolds in Fairfax to benefit the families of the victims of the Russian submarine disaster. Also playing will be Jimmie HaHa from Jimmie's Chicken Shack, and "Starsky and Hutch", aka Chuck (Smartbomb) & Dave (ebo). (Hey, I thought that Starsky & Hutch bit was just a joke?!).

In other news, there are no current plans for the whole band to tour because Todd's taking a family vacation. I've been told that the dates of that trip are a bit up in the air, which is why they haven't finalized any show dates yet. However, they will definitely be out and touring again once that's cleared up. Check back here in a few days for a review from tomorrow's TT's show.

August 12, 2000:
I'm getting back into the swing of things here. I've got a review and setlist up for last night's show at the 9:30 club. Check it out here. No news yet of future tour dates, but I'm hoping that with colleges starting up soon, that will mean lots more shows in the works, since emmet has a great following at lots of local colleges. I'll keep you posted as soon as I hear anything!

July 31, 2000:
Reviews now up for the Todd solo shows from April 15 and July 7, and the Alley Katz show July 29.

.
June 19, 2000:
Sorry for the long absence, but I've been out of town for the past month, just when things have begun to get excited... the band is on tour again! Check out the new tour dates over here. Also in store is a solo show by Todd Watts, which I will happily be attending with my new 21+ status. Woohoo! Enjoy the shows everyone, and write me up some reviews if you attend.
.
.
May 7, 2000:
Just to give people an update... the unofficial word is that the band members have taken up "real jobs" and will no longer tour as extensively as they once did. The official folks, however, are still maintaining that the band is merely on a well-deserved break. Either way, we supposedly have not seen the end of ES, so keep an eye out, and I'll put something up whenever I hear new info.
.
.
March 2, 2000:
Well everybody, good news at last in the touring area. Chris Metsala, Emmet webmaster, brings us this message from management: "The entire band is still taking a much needed break but TODD WATTS WILL PLAY AN ACOUSTIC SHOW WITH SPECIAL GUESTS ON SATURDAY, APRIL 15th AT T.T. REYNOLDS IN FAIRFAX, VA (10414 Main Street)- A tax day party...He will be playing new songs, old favorites, covers and telling his usual selection of jokes and stories...David Connelly from ebo opens the show. Don't miss it!! For info email us or call 703-591-9292"
.
.
January 30, 2000:
Happy belated new year everyone! I'm disappointed to say that there are no new tour dates available right now. The band is taking a break and getting some new material together. There should be some new dates announced in the end of February or early March, and I'll post them as soon as I hear about them.
.
.
December 1, 1999:

I also scanned in some old setlists from some shows I've been to. If anyone else has pictures or setlists, I'd love to put them up.

September 25, 1999:
I've added either setlists or links to pictures from four old shows, pulled from www.bandjoe.com: September 11, 1998, October 16, 1998, February 5, 1999, and June 5, 1999. The setlists have also been archived into the songs page.

Is anyone out there using my site? Please email me and let me know what you think! Reassure me that I'm not the only person enjoying it...
