Throughout the show, the screen behind emmet was lit up with short films intermixed with live video feeds of the band and the audience. It seemed that the band members were pretty intrigued with the live video feed. The club was packed full. Much more crowded than the last time they were at the 9:30 (Sept '96). Seemed a little older than usual too. This was a pretty long show. I think the most I've seen emmet do is 25 songs (a long time ago at the planet), so the 24 they played here was pretty good.

Bozo factor: 8% (limited to front of stage)
Smoke saturation: insignificant (nice ventilation there)
Overall: another fine outing!

during the instrumental song:
... todd: "this one's for Alan"
... short film entitled "The Leap" on screen

on the new song:
... todd: "something we cooked up the other day"
... chorus was something like: you say you'll stay here, anyway - i'll stay too, that's what i do

on "Pain":
... todd: "gib played so well, he gets to do another"

on "Anarchy in the UK":
... again with gib droll - he and erik dueled for a while
... this has got to be the one of the greatest lounge renditions of all time

[After "Hey Jesse"...]
Then the boys went off the stage and came back in a little while for an encore... since they hadn't done "arlington", that's sorta what everyone expected. especially with todd saying "this is the big rock n roll encore" and "this one's a real singalong number". They broke into a bitchin' version of "Angel of the Morning":
... cool snow falling on video

on "Arlington" ... third chorus "just like on tv" bit: "prince isn't coming"
... great shots on screen of cruisin' 295 into Arlington and driving around on route 50.
